CHL Systems, Inc. is Hiring a Facilities Supervisor Near Souderton, PA
- Responsible for the planning and execution of all activities required to maintain the plant structures and facilities in a safe and proper condition
- Develop, implement, and maintain preventative maintenance program
- Evaluate short and long-term needs in relation to major facility projects and property improvements
- Plan, schedule, and direct a program for the maintenance, alteration, and repair of buildings, grounds and equipment
- Conduct routine facility inspections
- Schedule and coordinate all grounds up-keep including landscaping, lawncare, and snow removal
- Coordinate all facilities, janitorial, and grounds maintenance staff schedules.
- Effectively supervise personnel to ensure all assigned maintenance activities are performed safely and effectively in accordance with company safety guidelines and local building code standards
- Ensure department personnel are properly trained, and qualified to perform assignments
- Administer coaching, mentoring and performance management, including initiation of disciplinary action, for assigned employees
- Ensures safety policies are followed at all times
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a hands-on construction role
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role
- Experience planning and executing small and large projects
- Able to build morale and team commitment to goals and objectives of the department
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit and inspires the trust of others
- Able to read and understand drawings and prints
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications
- Work is performed in a Manufacturing environment, regularly exposed and working with mechanical moving parts.
- Regularly required to reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 50 lbs.
